The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
